Water fountains bring the soothing sounds of flowing water into the home or backyard, but they also bring a visual element. Not only are water fountains beautifully designed and able to complement just about any existing decor, the water itself lends another dimension of stress relief to the equation. Watching the dance and trickle of water as it flows across rocks, down textured surfaces, and into a basin at the bottom enhances our auditory experience. When we listen to sound machines or audio recordings of nature sounds, we may feel the need to close our eyes to block out visual distractions around us that take our minds away from the goal of relaxation. In contrast, the visual attributes of water fountains bring us closer to that goal by giving us something beautiful and elemental to focus on with our eyes as we listen with our ears.

Table Top Fountains are highly recommended in homes and offices to help increase the humidity
levels and decrease the amount of dust particles in the air. This will have a large effect on people with allergies. The sound of the soothing running water also helps to produce a relaxing atmosphere which in turn reduces stress.
Wall Fountains are special additions to your surroundings. Studies have shown that the splashing water puts healthful negative ions into your surrounding environment. This helps to control allergies by keeping airborne dust partials to a minimum. The sound of flowing water also helps to relax and de-stress you after a long hard day.
To really make a focal point in your backyard there is nothing like a Garden Water Fountain. With your Garden Fountain you will enjoy your patio or deck and have a place to relax and enjoy the soothing sounds of water, and watch the birds as they bath and drink. It also makes for a great conversation piece when you have guests.

Have you ever considered using a table top fountain on your deck? or in a sun room? As long as you can access electicity it would be ideal on a deck or in a sun room. You will still be able to enjoy the sounds of the water without being in the hot summer sun.
Especially with this table top fountain where four froggy friends grab a cool drink of water from the cup of a lily pad leaf. A treat to behold, indoors or out!
If water fountains are an allure for you, but you don’t think that you have the room for one, check out the wall water fountains that are available. These virtually do not take up any new space. While driving through the countryside I have noticed from time to time that more and more people are using Jars/Urns for their water fountains. While I have never seen a water fountain that was sold that way (it is possible that they are, I just haven’t seen one in a store). Anyway I think it is a great idea! It kind of reminds you of ancient times when the young women carried similar urns of water from the nearby “spring” or “well”.
These urns come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes. Some are tall and sleek with handles, while others a bit more round.
Now is a good time to put in your water features. There are many, many different sizes and shapes of water fountains. And each fountain sounds different. Some will sound like water cascading, while others may sound like a steady drip and others may have a splashing sound. What do you prefer?
