Gardening for Birds

Sounds a little crazy I’m sure.  But did you know that you can plant a flower garden for a particular kind of bird?  What’s your favorite bird? Let’s take a look at the Cardinal.  Cardinals like sunflower seeds, safflower seeds and cracked corn.  They also like weed seeds and fruit and a wide variety of insects.  They like a yard that has lots of shrubs for cover.  This is so they can safely  move about. Vines are especially a favorite.
